Central African Republic

The Central African Republic (CAR) is a country of immense natural beauty but tragic history. It is home to Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve, one of the best places in the world to see forest elephants and western lowland gorillas in the wild. However, ongoing conflict and instability make it one of the most dangerous destinations for travelers.
