Cook Islands

The Cook Islands are a self-governing island country in free association with New Zealand. It's like Hawaii 50 years ago—no high-rise buildings (nothing taller than a coconut tree), no traffic lights, and no stress. Rarotonga is the main island with a lush interior, while Aitutaki has arguably the most beautiful lagoon in the world.
