Croatia

Croatia is the pearl of the Adriatic. It has over a thousand islands, crystal-clear water, and medieval cities that look like movie sets (literally—Game of Thrones was filmed here). From the walled city of Dubrovnik to the Roman ruins of Split and the waterfalls of Plitvice, it's stunningly beautiful. The coast is rocky, not sandy, which keeps the water pristine.
