Immediately After Exiting the Plane

Don't linger in the jet bridge or bus. The faster you get to passport control, the less time you'll spend in line. If you have a connecting flight, look for 'Baggage Claim' or 'Exit' signs immediately.

At the Baggage Claim Belt

Find your carousel number on the screen using your flight number. Stand where you can see the bags coming out. Many suitcases look alike, so always check the tag before taking a bag.

  • Take a photo of your suitcase before the flight.
  • Use a bright ribbon or cover to make it recognizable.
  • Check for damage immediately upon retrieval.

If Luggage is Missing

Don't panic. Go to the Lost & Found counter (usually near the carousels). You will need the baggage receipt that was stuck to your boarding pass at check-in.
