The ticket price for neighboring dates can differ significantly. Use price calendars on aggregators to see the picture for the whole month.
Sometimes departure on Tuesday or Wednesday is significantly cheaper than on Friday or Sunday.
Incognito Mode — Myth?
Many believe that aggregators remember your requests and raise the price. In practice, this rarely happens, but checking the price in incognito mode or from another device doesn't hurt. More often, the price rises simply because cheap fares are bought by other people.
Check Neighboring Airports
If flying to Europe, check flights to neighboring cities. Taking a bus or train might be cheaper than a direct flight to the capital.
For example, instead of Brussels, look at Charleroi, instead of Venice — Treviso or Verona.
Buy in Advance, But Not Too Early
